Full Membership
$391.00 per annum (or $34.50 per month)
Full Membership is available to individuals whose occupation is currently, and for at least the preceding three years, as a professional commercial photographer. Full Members have voting rights and enjoy all privileges of the Association.
Emerging Membership
$273.70 per annum (or $24.15 per month)
Emerging Membership is available to individuals who are within the first three years of commencing occupation as a professional photographer, or a professional photographic assistant who is also working part-time as a professional photographer. Emerging Members have voting rights and can hold elected office.
International Membership
$272.00 per annum (or $24.00 per month)
International Membership is available to individuals who live outside of New Zealand whose occupation is currently, and for at least the preceding three years, as a professional commercial photographer. International Members do not have voting rights and cannot hold elected office.
Assistant Membership
$156.40 per annum (or $13.80 per month)
Assistant Membership is available to individuals who derive income from assisting commercial photographers, or individuals who have recently completed a photography course at a tertiary institute and plan to pursue a career as a professional commercial photographer in the near future. Assistant Members have voting rights but cannot hold elected office.
Student Membership
$78.20 per annum
Student Membership is available to individuals who are enrolled for the majority of their time as a student of photography in a recognised tertiary institution of learning. Student Members do not have voting rights and cannot hold elected office. Student Membership is available for up to four years whilst maintaining full-time studies, after which the member will become eligible for other membership categories.
Educator Membership
$156.40 per annum (or $13.80 per month)
Educator Membership is available to education professionals (i.e. lecturers, teachers, etc.) who instruct students on subject matters directly associated with commercial photography. Educator Members have no voting rights and cannot hold elected office.
Affiliate Membership
$273.70 per annum (or $24.15 per month)
Affiliate Membership is available to individuals engaged in fields directly associated with professional commercial photography who are not photographers, assistants, educators or students. This includes photographic agents, representatives, consultants, producers, stylists and make-up artists, but does not include suppliers. Affiliate Members have no voting rights and cannot hold elected office.
