About
I give 100% to every job I’m given. I am punctual and take pride in my work. I am not afraid to ask questions if I’m unsure of something and I’m a quick learner. I am a sociable, well-mannered person who has no problem with talking and making conversation. I’m presentable and calm when the pressure is on.
I often take behind the scenes photos during shoots for later use by the photographer. These are never posted unless I’m given the go-ahead beforehand.
I am neat and tidy, I always take very good care of any equipment that I’m handling. I am considerate and always look to see what I can do to help, from carrying bags to seeing if someone simply needs a glass of water. I am a confident driver with a clean record and can drive manual.
Most of all, I am very keen for any opportunity to assist and develop my skills in this industry. It doesn’t matter whether the job involves long days on set, early hours or late finishes, significant travel, or short notice – just tell me when and where you need me and I’ll be there!
Experience
In 2018 I graduated from the Manukau Institute of Technology’s photography course. The course covered all of the basics of assisting such as set etiquette, unspoken rules and navigating a studio.
I interned at Kingsize Studios over a 3 month period to develop my equipment handling skills and gain a better understanding of how to operate the gear used on set.
I began assisting at the start of 2021 and since then have assisted photographers Lee Howell, Spid Pye, Regan Butler, Duncan Innes, Scott Hardy, Shaun Cato-Symonds, Giona Bridler, Chris Willaims and Pam Williams.

Lighting: Broncolor, Profoto, and some knowledge with Aputure
Software: Adobe Bridge, Lightroom, Photoshop (Mac and Windows)
Cameras: Canon
