AIPA Christchurch Meeting: An Evening With Simon Waterhouse

by AIPA

AIPA Christchurch is excited to present a talk by Simon Waterhouse.

Simon is a designer-turned-photographer-turned-filmmaker with over 20 years of experience in the creative industry. As a Director, DP, and owner of local production company Resonate, he has led a diverse range of projects across advertising, documentary, and branded content. His work is driven by a passion for storytelling, visual craft, and emerging film-making technologies. Known for his collaborative approach and ability to navigate the highs and lows of creative entrepreneurship, Simon brings honest insight into what it takes to build a sustainable, creatively fulfilling career in an ever-changing landscape.

Come along to learn and be inspired by Simon’s work. Hear about his transition from photography to videography, draw your own parallels or conclusions between your respective work and business models and figure out for yourself what it takes to be successful and what success can look like, all the while being based in Christchurch.

Simon is a great balance of creative and business smarts. He always has his finger on the pulse of the economy, his clients, and his business numbers!

Equally exciting is the fact that this event will be hosted by Greg Bramwell and his team at Photo & Video International. Greg runs one of the most successful camera stores in New Zealand and has likely seen more change in the industry than any of us!
